I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Regent University. I am licensed to teach at the K-6 grade level. I'm an experienced classroom teacher with the ability to support struggling students in general subject areas such as math, social studies, and reading. My favorite tutoring subject area is math because I truly enjoy helping elementary students comprehend a math problem. I am driven to give 100% to my students and go out of my way to make them feel comfortable and confident. I encourage students to ask as many questions as they want or need to ask. It is important to make students feel at ease so that they aren't afraid to ask for as much assistance as they need. I will do anything necessary to help my students excel. I am happy to answer any question a student asks. I can assist students with math, reading, phonics, social studies, science, SSAT prep, and more. I can also assist students who are preparing to take standardized exams. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy knitting, spending time with good friends, and reading.
