I lived, studied, and worked in a small city in central China for 10 years where there was no other foreigners. I was not an English teacher so I was completely immersed in Chinese for 10 years. I started as a language student for 5 years at a Chinese college and for the remaining 5 years I continued with daily immersion and self study through my work and constantly interacting with local people. I am near native speaker in Mandarin Chinese. I specialize in teaching non-Chinese in ways that native Chinese speakers can't understand from our perspective when learning the language. I can teach reading, writing, and speaking Chinese as well as many helpful points about Chinese culture and the current situation in China. I will not teach dirty language or cuss words but if I am asked I can let you know what to avoid.
