Bachelor's in Political Science with a certificate in Civic Education-Arizona State University, completing in fall 2019, 3.30 GPA. Planning on enrolling at ODU for secondary education to teach government in high school. Norfolk Collegiate High School, advanced studies diploma.
Experience
I am employed through Chesapeake Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher's Assistant. I regularly help high school students with Autism in their core classes, mainly Algebra 1 and Earth Science. I have helped multiple young adults with special needs successfully pass their requited SOLs, within the proficient range. I sit in English 9 classes and am well versed in literature, from public high school's curriculums, from personal reading, and from college level literature courses. I plan on becoming a government teacher, and have a great personal interest in American government, politics and our democracy. Once I finish my bachelor's I am enrolling at ODU for secondary education.
