Completed Bachelor's Degree in Government from the College of William and Mary (Williamsburg, VA) in 2004. Attained Secondary Education Certification at the same time.
Experience
I am a certified teacher for grades 6-12 in Virginia in both Social Studies (History, Government, Geography, Psychology, Economics, Anthropology, etc.) and English. I have been teaching for 10 years and have taught every grade level from 6-12. I have also taught AP US History and AP Government. On the other side of the coin, I have taught at-risk students in a school in a juvenile detention facility as well as worked in remediation programs and taught remedial level classes. I also have experience in tutoring 1 on 1, mainly for English/writing, but also with standardized test preparation.
