Old Dominion University - B.A. in History. Teaching License in Secondary History and Social Studies. I completed my student teaching internship with the Chesapeake Public School system last year so I have experiences working in the classroom directly with students and have a professional teaching license.
Experience
I am a college graduate and aspiring teacher. Working with students to help them achieve their goals and succeed is my passion. I have had multiple experiences working with kids. I coached rowing for four years at the high school and middle school level. I completed my student teaching internship last year and have been a substitute teacher in the Chesapeake Public School system since. I have also spent the last school year volunteering in a reading program in Virginia Beach Public Schools twice a week.
