Kevin O.
Private tutor in Chesapeake, VA
Education
University of Arizona College of Medicine, Ph.D. In Anatomy, 1984. University of Illinois, M.S. in Biology, 1978. University of Illinois, B.S. In Biology, 1976. Sorry - been far too long to remember my GPAs at these institutions.
Experience
Tutoring was done on an as-needed basis while I was an Assistant Professor of Anatomy for six years in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. I was the Gross Anatomy course coordinator for one year. I want to be a tutor because I love Gross Anatomy, I enjoy the interaction with pre-professional and medical students, and frankly, I could use the extra income since I'm now retired. While in graduate school, I took and help teach Gross Anatomy, Histology (Microscopic Anatomy), Neuroanatomy and Embryology. Of these, Gross Anatomy is by far my first love.

Hobbies
I've always enjoyed the tranquility of gardening and light yard work. I'm an avid reader of fiction, and have too many favorite authors to list here (but Clive Cussler, Dean Koontz and Steven Coonts are among my favorites). Lastly, I enjoy heading out on my Harley (with or without my wife) to find the nearest twisty roads.
