I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014 with a BA in Anthropology and Italian Studies. Prior to that, I was a 2010 graduate of Grassfield High School in Chesapeake.

Growing up, I was lucky enough to have parents who encouraged and pushed my educational pursuits even when I was struggling with a subject; I therefore truly believe that everyone has untapped potential that be unlocked with the right help. Education is the key to so many doors in life, and few things are as rewarding as knowing that you've helped someone unlock those doors!

My main interests are creative writing, reading, concerts/music, and games of all kinds from board to video to phone/tablet. I also love to bake, visit thrift stores, travel, and hang out at the beach in the summer. I'm a big fan of any and all museums but especially those featuring art, and I also love the zoo and aquarium!
